Cycling lovers will definitely meet their match in the Pesaro area!
Whether you ride a mountain bike or a racing bike, or should you decide to rent one during your holiday instead, it’s time to start warming up!
The hills of Pesaro are filled with cycling routes suited for all levels of preparation, such as the 38 km of the San Bartolo Panoramic Route, for medium experience cyclists, or the 22 km which start from the Croce del San Bartolo and travel through the Bocca del Lupo.
And there’s more: special wine and food cycling tours will take you through the Furlo Park, Mount Catria, Novilara, Gabicce and Tavullia.
Furthermore, the city of Pesaro can be visited entirely by bike, thanks to the dense network of cycling paths known as the Bicipolitana.
Both adults and children can cycle to the beaches of Baia Flaminia or Sottomonte, or even travel as far as Fano.
The local Mobike service is also available, on payment of a charge, for tourists and local inhabitants: there are many small grey and orange bicycles across the city that you can use to travel within Pesaro; renting these is easy, thanks to the smartphone app.
