Walking paths that look onto the sea

The section of the Apennines where our farmhouse is located is definitely unusual and particular when compared to the hillside landscape of the Adriatic coastline.

Here, gentle slopes give way to magnificent cliffs featuring many ideal trekking and walking routes.

Thanks to moderate altitude variations, these recently renovated paths can easily be taken on by all visitors.

Path 151 definitely stands out: it crosses the whole San Bartolo park from Pesaro to Gabicce Mare and offers many panoramic observation spots.

An equally interesting option from a landscape and cultural point of view is the short Nature Path, capable of combining seaside and hillside views in its just 600 metres of length.

From the gates of the San Bartolo natural park you will reach the Jewish Cemetery, which dates back to the late 1600s and has recently been renovated and opened to the public with guided tours organized by the Park Institution.

Another reason to walk in this area is the presence of many medieval towns – perfectly inserted in the landscape – such as Gabicce Monte, Fiorenzuola and Santa Marina Alta, all of which also offer great opportunities to enjoy the excellent cuisine of the Marche-Romagna border area.
